Great atmosphere and outdoor seating area that is mostly covered so you can sit in the shade. They also had live music with a band playing music but the music was a bit too loud, it made it hard to converse with friends because we had to talk loudly over the music. The place is buzzing and full of young people in groups, it?s a great place to grab brunch. Try to come early to avoid a long wait. They don?t take resos and it?s first come first served. You order at the counter then find seating and they?ll bring you your food. The menu has lots of choices we got the southern eggs Benedict, the kimchi bowl and a chicken pita. The food was all good and prices were reasonable.
On our way back from Florida Beaches we stayed in Chattanooga for the evening. For breakfast we went over to the Northshore area for breakfast and stumbled upon the Daily Ration. The girls at the counter welcomed us in and patiently took our order. We had a fairly large group ready to eat a good breakfast. We started with the beignets, which came out hot and crispy. Best I have ever had. When the rest of our food came it was all hot, fresh and came out all together. The waitresses did an excellent job with drinks and making sure we had what we needed once all the food was brought to our table. The food and service was excellent. Pictures posted.
What a great brunch spot! The service was quick (both ordering and receiving our order) even though the line looked long initially. My Americano was decent, and my Spicy **** Mary hit the spot. The Southern Eggs Benedict was perfect; ever flavor worked so well together, from the delicious sourdough to the amazing pimento cheese to the greens on top. The waffle my daughter ate was amazing as well. If I'm ever in Chattanooga again, I'll definitely be back!
Rachael, Kat and the entire staff were phenomenal, even on a very busy Sunday! We traveled from Atlanta to eat here and were not disappointed at all. Worth the trip! I had the brunch sampler with the Beignets and cookies and the mango jam should die. Sooo good. I also had the Lavendel Latte, Veggie Platte, who were lovely. I'd come back to eat here.
