The 19th century building has been renovated in full on Art Deco style, with wonderful features such as a stained glass ceiling, but also some rather over the top features of decorative lamps trims and so on. I've been there several times and the food has always been great. Last week I went again we both had the smoked breast of duck a l'orange. It was more like ham than duck - the outer pieces were overdone and tough and the smoke overshadowed the orange sauce. We were so disappointed. In the past I've had their braised duckling and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Wish they'd bring that back. The vegetables were good but the mashed potatoes could have been warmer. A lot of diners seem to really like this place, so maybe it's just not my taste. It just feels dusty and seems to appeal to an older crowd based on the clientele the night I was there. It is in a historical house which felt old and dark to me. The prices are quite expensive, with most entrees well over $30. I had the prime rib, which I found to be somewhat fatty and not that flavourful. Service was interesting, too. Old school waiters who tried to provide formal old school service. Fantastic Place, Great atmosphere, fantastic staff and food was excellent. No complaints whatsoever. Plenty of choices on the menu and the wine list. Steaks and prime rib was fantastic and the liver & onions with bacon was just amazing. Would certainly recommend this place.

We both had delicious, beautifully cooked steaks on our visit here. The atmosphere is classy, if slightly geared towards an older crowd. A little bit higher priced than other steakhouses in the area, but worth it for the quality of the meal.
