The Dolphin - Table reservation

Despite this being our local pub, a poor dining experience a few years ago (with the previous owners) rather put us off. However, having learned that the current owners were doing a great job and the food was excellent, we decided to give it a try to celebrate my son's new job. How pleased I am we did! The whole place has been refurbished and now looks smart and welcoming. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by the owners who continued to look after us really well during our visit. Wanted a place to eat extensive lunch because we left Devon to Dorset. This is where we came from. It always keeps waiting for what you get on your plate, but that's also the fun part. Both the Lamb rump taken. It was made perfect. Meat was pretty weird to medium weird. All good taste. The service was also kind and helpful. This way, it's fine to have you surprised. Maybe we should go back to this week.

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant with excellent food and very friendly staff. The fish pie was especially delicious and we felt very welcomed. The cozy atmosphere and comfortable seating made it a great find, highly recommended.

Warm, friendly welcome and great food at the start of our Christmas festivities this week. We recommend the Dolphin for a Christmas outing or any other occasion.
