Tasty food at a good price - good place to drop in while on holiday. However, this time we popped in on a Tuesday night - trivia night. Instead of being told that there were no tables available, the staff took our order... We then discovered a small piece of paper with 'reserved' at 7pm under the salt and pepper shakers on our table. After we noticed this, we asked if we could move to another table. We were told there weren't any available, not even outside. We were told that our meals should be there soon so we should be right. Our meals didn't arrive until 6:20 so they had to set up a plastic table outside with no lights directly above our table, so our pub meal became dinner in a dark cou...
Monday nights are 2 for the price of 1 deals.my husband and I went last night and had the rib eye fillet and chicken snitzel I couldn't have asked for a better tasting meal. My hubby is still raving about the taste of his steak and how it was cooked. The staff were friendly and welcoming always there to clean the table and clear glasses. It was busy so I would good a table even though their website it's not required. Can't wait to my next visit to Canberra to attend this hotel for great pub meals
I took my nephew here for dinner recently and for once was able to fill him up! We ordered the sirloin steak and fish and chips and the sirloin steak portion was fantastic - the fish and chips was not so big what was on the plate was good. We are here on a Monday night and took advantage of the two for one offer - which made the evening even better. Friendly, fantastic staff who made us feel welcome and were very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended for individuals or families.
Was visiting Canberra and went to the Durham with wife and friends for dinner. Was going to have the chef curry of the night. Asked if it contained seafood sauce etc and was advised by waiter yes. Chef came out and spoke ref options. Very happy with their knowledge and mangement of allergies. I enjoyed my final choice as did the others. Atmosphere and service fantastic. Will definitely come back again. Thankyou to the chef and wait staff for making it a safe night out.

My husband and I spent a few very pleasant hours at the Durham recently after an afternoon shopping in the city. They have a very good selection of craft beers, my husband tried three and I had a couple of glasses of a local Shiraz also very good. We both had hamburgers,they were very good and just what we felt like.The staff were attentive,atmosphere fun, we'll go again, maybe a karaoke night.
Went twice in the past month as the food is pretty good and great value. Had the chicken wings one time and then a beautiful warming curry on a winters night. Plenty of beer choices and wines. Watch out for Trivia Night on a Tuesday which packs the place out from 7pm so if you haven't reserved a table you'll have to eat standing up.
Went to the Durham for the start of a hen's party - we wanted an afternoon session at a place where we could chill out and listen to some music. The staff were super accommodating, and it was a good afternoon. My meal was okay - nothing to write home about in the food department, but decent enough and not overly expensive.
Came here on a Wednesday night and discoverd it was $10 burgers. I ordered the Pub Chicken burger and my partner ordered the double cheese burger and they were both amazing. The Pub Chicken was without a doubt the best burger I've ever had. The service was awesome and our waiter was super friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Looking for options for dinner in Kingston. The Durham was lively and the prices were reasonable. Had ribs and wings and pizza. The ribs were falling off the bone which is the way you want it. They were nice enough to allow us to change chips for vegetables. Pizza was not as nice - bland. Washed down with pale ale on tap.
Was a refuge while wife shopping. Did not eat but menu looked good pub stuff. Staff friendly and helpful. Had some interesting craft beers on tap. Nice atmosphere
