The place is impressive to look at, but don 't expect to get friendly service if you get service at all. We dropped in to hear the music and have a drink and appetizer without making a reservation since it was a quiet night. The place was about 1/2 empty but the hostess made us wait 2-3 minutes ; 10 minutes later she came back and took us to 1 of at least 4 empty tables in the open air room. We sat there for at least 20 minutes with wait staff passing by our table at least 6-8 times not even acknowledging us! We figured we were not wanted and we left (something we have never done before) and went home to leftovers. I would not recommend dropping by this restaurant.
We visited this place for the first time and enjoyed the nice atmosphere on the rooftop. However, we had to wait for at least 10 minutes before anyone came over to our table. We eventually had to call over the hostess to find our server, but even after 5 more minutes, no one showed up. It seemed like the restaurant was not prepared for a busy Sunday night after a festival. We don't plan on returning to pay high prices for such poor service. We decided to leave instead of waiting indefinitely. We gave the food 3 stars only because we had tried it before at a wedding shower.
The restaurant has a beautiful and lively atmosphere that reminds me of restaurants in Napa Valley, California. They offer farm-to-table dishes that are fresh and delicious. We started with the flavorful parmesan fries and Caesar salad, which had extremely fresh greens. For our main course, we shared the crab cakes and Halibut. While the crab cakes didn't have lump crab meat, the seasoning was tasty. The Halibut was incredibly fresh and melted in your mouth. Elm is like having a piece of Napa Valley in my neighborhood. I absolutely love this place!
The price of the food is not worth the quality. Food isn’t bad but nothing spectacular, somewhat over salted and trying too hard to mimic fine dining and missing the mark. The rooftop atmosphere is very pleasant but also seems like a happy-hour hangout so it got very loud at times with groups of people seemingly meeting for drinks. Might come back for drinks in the future but can’t imagine coming back for the dining/food.

Food is fine. Lovely renovation. The owners are trying to manipulate the community to give up its traditions because they might be inconvenienced and fear out of towners None of the other restaurants agree with them. They were open and packed throughout the pandemic and no one could stop them. Spend elsewhere. Better choice: Marco 's Place, 1416 or Steak and Vine.
Server came over and gave us a thumbs up? Weird. We reserved a couch but wasn’t available. Didn’t want to wait for boat dads to get up so we sat at a table. Food and drinks were okay but so overpriced it was hard to enjoy. seriously I can go downtown and pay less. It’s Lagrange. Rooftop was nice but not $20 for small plate nice. Not going back.
Best burgers ever! Scallops are always perfectly cooked. Nothing on the menu I don’t like. Favorite drink is the Griffin with blueberry infused gin. Great wine selection. Love the outdoor rooftop but the whole atmosphere is beautiful. My favorite servers are Nick and Katie but the whole staff is wonderful! Loyal customer for 3 years.
Place is very very nice but food is not great. Everything we had just had no taste. It is sad to see really great place have this issue. And from other reviews it seems like I wasnt the only one who noticed this. I hope you guys will improve on your food.Waiter was very nice and rest of the staff too.

Nice location, nice atmosphere. The place gets really busy and crowded with live music, so be prepared to a high level of noise. Staff was friendly, food was ok, but nothing special. Would I return? Probably not, because food was not really great and the place is too loud for me.
