I tried an AT-Tru-Hike and stayed here on my first “zero day” and was absolutely blown away as unique this little Donut-joint is. When I made an order and mentioned being a wanderer (many places in Clayton offer different discounts for us), the owner mentioned learning about the term "Schiene Magie" and gave me two donuts for free! What a nice guy and great idea – the donuts are served warm, freshly dressed and absolutely delicious. I will definitely recommend this place to those who come behind me and like to be back when / when I return to the area. You really can't beat how good they are.
It's hard to describe how good these donuts are. They are heated to order and all toppings are added as you observe. We were greeted by a friendly smile and a hot cup of coffee, both of which were very welcomed. The donuts are light and tasteful and not greasy, so they were an excellent experience. We managed to get the kids cold Coke in glass bottles. Classic. If you are in Clayton, stop here; You won't regret it. And if you're like us, plan another trip to Clayton to stop here.
This place is different. The woman who worked behind the counter was so personal and we talked music (Bluegras Cover Music is now a favorite of me! as she has made us the most tender assortment of donuts in the history of eternity. The apple cake Donut was my favorite, but after trying some of the others it was hard to get only one. Fun ambiance and we will make sure that when we go through the city!
Oh, God! These are the donuts to get while you grow through Clayton. warm and tasty. I ordered the original hay pile with chocolate, coconut and caramel. NEW GUT! my partner and I stopped with your dogs. the owner was friendly enough to let our pups short while we ordered. he even threw them a leak! really good service and even better donuts. we will be back for more!
