We ordered the American Kobe burger and The Pile Up burger, along with some sweet potato fries. However, we were disappointed to find that the sweet potato fries were just packaged fries that they tossed into the fryer. The Kobe burger comes plain, so I added some lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and pickles. The pickles were complimentary, but each additional topping came with an extra charge. Our total, with a soda, came to about $37. While that’s not too bad, we felt that the burgers could have been better. They were smaller than we expected and overly salty. Personally, I think Shake Shack offers better burgers.

The food was excellent—well-prepared and delicious. However, the selection of condiments was somewhat limited. When you order a fancy burger, you only receive basic options like ketchup and mustard for toppings, which was a bit disappointing. We tried several expensive burgers, and they were wonderfully flavorful. The seasoned French fries were also a treat, and the sweet potato fries were simply delicious. I would highly recommend dining here. We also indulged in some pies and cookies, which were quickly devoured. I can't wait to visit again!
The filling station is an apt name for this place as bikers, hikers, and other outdoorsmen and women can come here to fill up after they have depleted everything they had. I come here after work because my commute passes through this restaurant. However, I am reviewing now because this restaurant gave me all the fuel I needed after my 7 hour hike. I had the TFS burger and it was what I needed. They serve craft beers too which was needed too. Afterwards, I took a Uber home as I could not do another 7 hour hike back.
The food was decent, earning a rating of 3 to 4 stars. However, the restaurant's environment was quite off-putting. There was trash scattered everywhere, with boxes and equipment cluttering the space. The picnic tables were dirty, and I even saw people sitting on the floor to eat. The unpleasant smell emanating from the kitchen was unbearable, yet customers were seated just 8 feet away. Overall, the dining experience was undermined by the state of the restaurant. If I could eat one for the rest of my life, it would be sweet potato friries from the Filling Station. If you haven't tried them yet RUN and ask for their truffle aioli sauce on the side. I hope that their recipes will be passed on for generations so that I can bring my children and great children. Apart from the Gott-Tier riders, customer service and food in the market and outside at the filling station is delicious and good quality. Very recommended.
I was with two of them. one on haverstraw and one in palisades. eating is good. if they are looking for a beautiful green burger and decent pommes, this place is good. the milkshakes were subpar. also the bees! they? re all about the sodabrunnen I get, but I don't want to get soda on the risk of being stabbed! for what it is, it is in order, but I have found other little time burger joints with better eating and cleaner places
We decided to have dinner at The Filling Station after searching for burger places on Google, and it exceeded our expectations. The burgers and sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had. This place will spoil you when it comes to finding a better burger elsewhere. It's not upscale, which we really appreciate. You should definitely hurry over to The Filling Station!
Great burgers and quick service. Came on a busy Sunday with nice weather but food came out relatively fast and it was delicious! There is a parking lot in the back with overflow parking on 9W. Book a table now
