It was taken over by new management and it was fantastic. But the inevitable has happened, the chips are bad... I thought I would give them a window on the first lot of bad chips but days later, they are unfortunately the same. They...have done the obvious... they’ve used good quality stuff to draw the customers, then bought in the cheaper stuff. Sorry Fishnet, but strikes and I’m going to have to find another chip shop.
I had a small cod and chips which was reasonably priced at However the food was luke warm and the fish grey and tasteless. The fish was already prepared and probably been sitting there for a while. I should have walked out and cancelled...the order. I sat on a bench by the canal to eat it but ended up throwing it away. The staff were cheery.
Been times recently and has always been super. The food is fresh and well cooked. The chips are beautiful and the presentation last time I went was very upmarket. The peas and sauce finished it off well. The place is Immaculate and staff are...easy going and helpful. Value for money and waiting times good. Well done team keep it up.

Basic fish and chip shop, which is exactly what you want. Absolutely thrilled to find gluten free fish and chips on the menu whenever you want them, instead of only one day a week, or month.
Great fish and chips but a great pity that the bouncer outside could not be more pleasant. Do you want to go in is not the way to greet customers. Bordering on the unpleasant.
Advised to pre-order (ring them). I was amazed the the prices were the same as standard. And various products available. They even had gluten free vinegar.

Do not waste your time here. The staff is rude and the menu items are frequently unavailable. It's best to find another restaurant to dine at.
