I had a lunchtime meal yesterday 15th November. I was very disappointed. The service was very slow. The waitress not happy. I had ordered the salad and requested no bread but could I have the ham and cheese instead. Previously this was provided and I was happy. This time the salad was not as good and the cheese delivered in a mini ramekin, one you would use for sauce. Very dissaponted. Meal type: Lunch
Popped in for dinner but would recommend prebooking, we managed to sneak a table for 2 as it appeared to be a wedding party in the main pub area so was very busy, the food was good old fashioned pub grub but for me the portions were far too large and neither hubby or I could finish. Reasonable prices and would recommend
Just moved back into the area after 10 years so went to the Five Bells for dinner. Still the first class quality food and lovely atmosphere. Have been twice for a meal which was excellent. Sadly our third visit for lunch was disappointing. Service was poor, we waited ages for our order to be taken and then waited ages for our food, which was very poor.
