My friend and I had the set three course Christmas lunch for £18. What excellent value! And enormous portions, I'm still full three days later! We've been having our annual Christmas lunch in the Grays/Orsett area for over 15 years and I can honestly say this one was the best. The quality was great, good home cooked food. The service was spot on too, really charming staff. We'll be back (before next Christmas! .
We love going to The Fox when the weather is nice. There's nothing like enjoying a freshly prepared lunch in their garden. The sausage baguette comes with multiple sausages, not just one, and is served with a side salad and crisps - it's so satisfying that you won't even want dessert! The staff is friendly and the beers are always cold.
We frequently visit this restaurant during the week to enjoy a quiet drink and sit in the garden with our dogs. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Currently, there are two marquees in the garden which were perfect when it rained the other evening. It can get a bit crowded on weekends, but overall, it's awesome.
I am a regular visitor with family and friends, the food is good value for money and is freshly prepared the beers are well kept and different guest ales change weekly. Helpful and friendly staff in what I would call a old style local well worth a visit. Book a table now
Once again the fox provided the refreshments following the Orsett Remembrance service at the Memorial. Thank you to the management and staff for the kindness to veterans and attendants to the service and for providing the buffet much appreciated
The bar staff is friendly, with two separate bar areas. The beer selection is fantastic, and the atmosphere is dog-friendly. There are plenty of parking spaces available, and a large outdoor beer garden is perfect for enjoying a drink.
This year we decided to keep our works doo local and went to the fox. The staff are fantastic, Very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be returning
