I visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening with two friends. We enjoyed a lovely meal that included fish and chips and two racks of ribs, along with a dessert. The chips were thick and hearty, the cod was tender and moist with a crispy batter, and the ribs were succulent and flavorful. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The menu is straightforward and unpretentious, the hosts were friendly, and there were some nice ales to choose from. We definitely hope to return soon. Thank you! Price per person: £10–20. We booked this pub for a big family lunch and celebration of my dad's life. There were 24 of us and we had a great time. The place is really lovely just how I'd imagine a local village pub to be, with excellent service. A great local pub, the staff were great. My compliments to the chef, the food was very good and everyone really liked it. My chick pea burger was very tasty and best bit was the syrup sponge. I highly recommend this pub

tasty eating really good nice Sunday dinner at just £16 for 3 courses. friendly service type, patients who have my mother who has alzheimer. also rick’s gitarre sing during our meal. thanks will be back soon!

My return visit after many years made to feel very welcome good banter with friendly chef and staff. Excellent food served in good portions very tasty. Priced reasonably as well! First class go take a look.
