friendly, efficient and personables staff. the restaurant manager, the dame, which served on the bar and also the dame that served the calvary, was particularly prominent, all the staff were very good and seemed a happy, well-guided team. absolutely huge portions for both la carte and calvary. boiled to a large mouth water standard. the employees were very warm to all in our party, especially the children. no problem with party with a mix of a la carte and calvary. whole and hearty eating. the restaurant itself is well designed, tastefully decorated and clean. thanks for an ingenious lunch.
Yesterday, we had a wonderful family gathering at this restaurant. The menu was slightly more limited compared to my previous visits, but the food was delightful. The quality of the dishes is outstanding, and the portions are quite generous! The chef prepared a delicious chicken dish to accommodate a special request from one of our party members. The staff was incredibly friendly and did everything possible to ensure we had a great experience. We left as very happy customers and will definitely be back!
First time visiting the Fox House today and will definitely be back. Food was amazing and the service is impeccable, the staff were run off their feet, but still made the effort to give great service. They all mucked in and worked together, always good to see a team working so well to provide the best for their customers
Brilliant Sunday lunch (carvery) though a la carte menu also looked very good (awesome fish on the table next to us) and a nice selection of craft beers. They made room for us muddy walkers even though we hadn't booked. Make as reservation and you won't be disappointed

Very nice place to eat, drink. Excellent service, very large portions, great menu including specials and a great selection of drinks. Don't let the out side put you off. Interior decoration very nice and a very clean establishment.
I had a fantastic time at The Fox House. The meal was excellent—well-cooked and delicious. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and the service was prompt. They also offer gluten-free options.
