This is probably the best pub in Northamptonshire. The owner is one of the most compassionate people I have ever encountered. This pub doesn't have the typical issues that other local pubs have. I am open about my mental health struggles and I was shown kindness and support in this pub, instead of being judged or thrown out. They even offered me a ride home. I wish that this owner could take over all the pubs in my town by the time my children are old enough to go out. Thank you. Food: 5/5.
Visited this pub today as in Thrapston meeting friends and what a great pub it is. The beer garden is fantastic, just the thing needed on what was a sweltering day. There was a great range of lagers on sale and all at amazing prices,...I couldn't believe how cheap this pub is. All the covid protocols in place and excellent standards noted throughout. This pub is an absolute credit to the Landlord, I will definitely be making a return visit.
My favourite pub. As a local, I can call this pub my family's pub. The service is beyond excellent. The food is delicious! The pistachio ice cream is to die for! This is the perfect place for a lovely family meal or just a few...drinks (maybe more than a few). The atmosphere is really lovely!

Bad bar staff not interacting with customers. Very slow service. Not enough staff on. No food severed anymore
