The Free House Pub

This is an incredible whiskey bar. They're supposed to have good food, but that's why I'm not coming. If you are looking for assigned whiskeys, chances are The Free House Pub has a few. The choice of whiskeys changes when new ones come and old ones get out. If you're going to the bar, ask for a whisky menu. There are things that do not find your eyes. Look around at each other. Sometimes there are things that haven't met the whisky menu yet. If you look at the menu, check the prices. No prices for Miami, Chicago, New York or Las Vegas. You get excellent pouring at very affordable prices. If you are in Angel's envy, they even have their own private filling. Finally, the staff is very friendly...

It was not our first choice, but our first choice was so crowded, we checked online for other dining establishments. Since we're not from the area, we were unaware of this place. The special, the fried steak sandwich, was delicious! Service was quick enough that as the waitress headed our way with two plates, I was expecting her to veer off to another table. Nope, it was our food. It's just off of the main drag in Middleton. They also have outdoor dining.

Our daughter recommended this restaurant to us. We ordered salads that were excellent and generous. Our waitress was helpful. We enjoyed the charm of the building and sat outside in the courtyard. I am wondering about the history of this building, as well as the significance of the name, Free?
