very friendly (and especially dog-friendly) pub. good Sunday dinner, with a relaxed atmosphere. not quite what we expected from their website (although it could be a bit of foodie upmarket), but still very good. prices for food a bit on the high side, but in portions and quality made it actually a good value. easy to guide the bill for drinks or extras. overall a good experience, although not quite 5 stars
We have just spent a week in Alderton and loved the Gardeners Arms. Wendy and Co were so welcoming and the food was great. We must have eating in there most days and every meal was fresh and delicious. The Roast was one of the best roasts I have ever tasted. Our dog Buddy loved his doggy meals too! A nice touch for dogs. We will be back again for sure. X
great eating in a beautiful location. we have often been and are never disappointed and always get great service. dog-friendly, variety on the menu and have the opportunity of the beautiful beer garden in summer! the best. it is an independent pub. support before location!
fantastic food, good service. this place never lets us impress. Today we had a vegan nut roasted goodington and a mixed roast. absolutely delicious.
