The staff at this restaurant are friendly and outgoing, making you feel very welcome with their happy disposition. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the menu offers a good selection with the option to make changes if desired. The hot food is served quickly and is very tasty. I also appreciate the bonus of having books available to read, look at, or swap. While the restaurant is set back from the main high street, it is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a delicious breakfast at affordable prices.

This restaurant is lovely, quite and peaceful, and also charming. We as a family have known this restaurant for years, and the staff are kind and thoughtful. The food, is lovely, and the staff do an awful lot to accommodate the customers request when ordering any food. The staff are also very polite to anyone with hidden disabilities as well. The staff, serve you with a smile and our very patient when they take your order. The restaurant, is a quite and charming lovely place.

We were taken here by my Daughter for a treat. The girls who were serving were really attentive, helpful and very friendly. Lots of Tea and Coffee, the food was exceptional. Sandwiches made with good quality Bread, beautiful home made cakes and scones. It has a book exchange, with a varied collection of books, I recommend the Afternoon Tea, much better than many that I have had over the years. It’s very easy to find using what3words

I was recommended this restaurant by a family member who lives nearby. I was happy to find that they had a low-carb breakfast option available. The eggs, bacon, mushrooms, and spinach were delicious. The service was quick. Overall, I would definitely recommend this lovely cafe. Book a table now

I had another fantastic Mother's Day afternoon tea takeaway from this restaurant. The sandwiches were incredibly fresh with generous fillings, and the cakes must have been homemade - it's probably the best afternoon tea I've had. Thank you once again!

I love this place whenever I'm in Widnes. The full English is a delight: crispy bacon, lovely black pudding and delicious sausage. The staff are helpful and not intrusive. Best place to eat in the area.
