Value for the increased prices is not there anymore. I am a fairly regular customer since their opening, going with wife, family and friends at different occasions. I would mostly order the GL burger or Chicken Tiki and always enjoyed them. Over the years the tiki has been inconsistent but it seems at this time it is recommendable. My wife always orders the fish chips and for once I chose to order it while with a friend. It was the worst I have ever seen! 3 flat triangular fish patties that looked and tasted very much like they came from the frozen food case across the street at IGA atop of soggy French fries. This is a great place and our server was fantastic, helpful and right on top of things. Very nice and large menu. Lots of tasty looking sandwiches and burgers. Really appreciated the huge beer menu and some not so well known beers. I had a Granola Brown Ale from Black Hog in CT. We started with the Crispy Cauliflower app in the chili sauce. It was excellent. My wife had the Spaghetti Squash with the pesto sauce. It was very good, on the smaller size, but a nice plate. I ordered one of the St. Patrick's specials, Corned Beef, Cabbage and potato entree. I was disappointed in the meal. I think I have always tried to tell myself that Good Life was better than it was because it’s close to my house and convenient and I’ve continued to eat there despite noticing the portions getting smaller while the price increased which seems to be the new trend these days but the last time I ate there and had a chicken Caesar wrap, the wrap barely had any chicken as was the case the previous time I had it and the time before that. You might say well it’s my fault for getting it again and that may be true but I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but I ask myself why should I? My husband and I went to this place and we must admit that we ended up extremely surprised the taste of the food, the freshness in the ingredients is something you feel at the first bite I would return to this place a thousand times the attention 10/10, the food 10/10 and the quality-price combination is fantastic. 10 stars for service!!! Our waiter, Al, was amazing!! I explained to him that we were tight on time, needed to have a quick bite and be on the road by a specific time and he made sure we were out by that time while being extremely nice and pleasant in the process! Thanks Al !!
Ordered the good life burger, was not good. The potato coins came without cheese, so basically paid $14 for potato chips. Was never a fan of good life but had a gift card but still super disappointing. Called to try to speak with manager but they didn’t have one in.
The food was good, the dining room is loud, there are a lot of televisions, the service was lacking and inattentive. They seem understaffed.
