Such a lovely meal, and STUNNING VIEWS. We had such a tasty meal here on a lovely summer’s evening. I had a pizza and my parents had a fillet steak and a steak and ale pie. The side of onion rings were brilliant! I finished off with churros that I sincerely hope become a permanent addition to their menu as they were fab! Helpful smiley service and delicious food. I could sit outside staring across the countryside for hours.

We’d never visited before but I’ve recently moved to the area and wanted family to enjoy a nice Sunday lunch together. Unfortunately the service was very slow , the waiting staff pretty un knowledgeable about what sauces they had , and everywhere looked messy and a bit grubby , with uncleared tables and young staff standing around chatting as we arrived with no one to greet us. Won’t be back .

Great meal at the Gresley only to be ruined by some know-it-all locals who thought it was entertaining to patronise me and my family because we didn't know what views we were looking at from the back of the pub. He was Ginger, That probably explains it.

Friendly staff, excellent well cooked food from a good selection on the menu. Our dogs were also welcomed. Will definitely go again.
