Came for food to catch up with a friend. We ordered nachos and other food through the app and immediately went to the bar to make sure they put guacamole on the side and not in the bowl as my friend has an allergy. The nachos eventually came and they had ignored our request and put it in the bowl on top of the nachos. I took this back to the manager and politely asked to change it. She was very quick to blame me and accused me of lying and took no responsibility before finally agreeing to change it. As well as this, the pizza was missing a topping and instead of taking our pizza to the kitchen, they brought a bowl of a few rocket leaves. Is this a joke? Manager came over and said “what’s up...

Oh dear.... I went to Wetherspoons on Sunday morning at 9:30am and it was full of early drinkers that made me question the time. I went to the bar to order a cooked breakfast and needed some changes to my order. However, the computerised till did not have the flexibility I needed. After a long wait, my breakfast finally arrived but when I asked for brown sauce, I was told they had run out for the past 2 days. Why was I not informed earlier? It was frustrating for me and other diners, especially since there is a Tesco just 100 yards away. The breakfast itself was disappointing, with overly salty bacon. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this place.

Bar staff extremely rude, took pitchers away and refused to accept id due to our friend being transgender passing as male. The larger girl with dark hair and the blonde girl both rude and transphobic. Asked to speak to a duty manager and they responded with “he’s not in” abysmal service . Staff need sorting out , our friend is now too insecure to return , ruined our day . Situation could’ve been avoided with a polite conversation or maybe if they hadn’t have lied about management. As an ex employee of Wetherspoons I know there are always multiple managers and/or shift leaders in especially on a Saturday.Avoid at all costs!!!

This is one of the worst places to eat and drink in Preston. The staff are incredibly miserable and uninterested. As soon as you walk in, it's chaos with dirty tables everywhere. The pub is always understaffed and this visit was no different. The beer was terrible, with the draft Corona tasting like Stella. When we asked the manager to replace it, she rudely pushed the glass back and said she poured it correctly. This will be our last visit and we will definitely not recommend this place to anyone looking for food and drinks. Book a table now

I have just read the reviews on the Greyfriar and was amazed by the bad reviews I suppose it was a Sunday night and the pub was very quiet but we can only say that the beer on offer was excellent we also had the three small dishes of food for £12.50 all were ever so tasty and well presented and the staff even smiled I also felt that it did not give me the feel of some wetherspoons of drinkers who had been there all day.

I went for lunch and was informed of a 15 to 20 minute wait. However, it took 1 hour and 5 minutes for our meal to arrive. The skinny burger I ordered was surprisingly skinny and only had lettuce instead of the promised lettuce, tomato, and onion. It was also quite dry. I will not be returning in a hurry.

On a quiet Monday night, the Northern Irish barmaid was still as abrupt and brash as she was the previous Saturday afternoon. She would definitely make a good prison officer in my opinion Book a table now

Quite big a pub, ideal for larger groups I guess. Ordered the all new US style burger and it was delicious, will come back.
