The Griffon Pub - Table reservation

Great little spot to stop, lift a pint, have a snack or meal. Staff friendly and service was fast and efficient. We sat at the bar and found Kathy, our bartender, to be a great ambassador for The Griffon and Charleston in general. We really enjoyed chatting with other patrons around the bar. Feel the tone of the bar/restaurant and staff is conducive to providing patrons with a convivial, relaxed environment. Kathy, thanks for indulging me by making your very first “Black Velvet”. It was delicious (on right).

The ambience loved the whole hotel with a dollar bill with news written on it. It helps to place yourself when you find a table, you can take a place. This is not like the regular hotels where you wait until the host assigns a table! Food tastes good. We tried the cheeseries, veg black bean castle side of the Koleslaw. The Koleslaw was extremely sweet(not good)

We absolutely loved this place! Their dollar tradition was too cool! Loved how kid friendly they were, the waitress was super patient with my girls. The server was all around great and very knowledgeable about the beer, which is always a plus in my book! Food was delicious and the servings were very generous! We WILL be back!

Fun place, good service, love the food. Had fish n salad.... Crispy, flaky and fresh! This dollar bill tradition was started years ago our amazing server said A friend eating with the owner popped a bill on the wall. The idea stuck and the rest is history. A fun ideathat adds to the experience.

Tha absolute BEST homemade nachos and queso! The tater tots were crispy and delicious. Very unique decor. Excellent food. We will return when visiting Charleston again.
