Was surprised to find there was a brief wait for lunch at 1pm on a Thursday but once we were seated, I quickly realized why. The food was so good! Easily the best brussel sprouts I've ever had, and I don't even like brussel sprouts! The surf and turf burger was amazing! Excellent service, laid back (despite being busy) atmosphere. Feels like the quintessential hole-in-the-wall gem. Will definitely go back. Looking forward to trying other meals as well (I've heard they're known for their breakfast. Can't wait to find out).
1st time ever going there that the food was completely inedible. 1st off, the amount of turkey and ham were completely pathetic than the 2 meager pieces of ham were charred BLACK... the waitress said she would let the manager know but not even sure that happened, the manager never ever bothered to come out to our table to talk to us. Sadly, will be a long time before I go back, I get bad food happens but the complete lack of customer service was just not expected at this establishment
I came in, and there was plenty of staff working. I was greeted by every person saying hello. My food came out hot and fresh. It was well prepared and clean. (My food folk understand clean food). This is a lovely restaurant. It was extremely busy. The service and food were good. The only reason for 4 stars was that the potatoes were cold. They have an interesting menu with creative breakfast items in addition to the basics.
