We have tried so many times trying to give the benefit of the doubt because we really did enjoy these donuts, back when it was a storefront and when they attempted to run this independently out of their home. Several times myself and my friends would order for delivery the donuts would be hours late. There were always excuses. Then we started to order the night before and a couple times they just didn’t deliver any! Ordered donuts 2 days in advance and called when I got to the house to pick them up, I was told they would be brought right out... 30 mins passed as I waited in the driveway and I got a text that said the owner isn’t feeling good so actually won’t be bringing them out but someone would deliver. No-one called, texted or showed up to deliver them. The next day, I texted asking for a refund and got no response. It has now been 3 days later and still have not heard from owner. I tried to be understanding, but I’m frustrated because this was for someone’s birthday and so planned 2 days in advance... if I knew, I would have gone elsewhere, the 30 mins that I waited made me late...I felt like I was...
We always loved the Grind back when it was in New Hope. I remember when she started making the donuts. Always great service. When they moved to Bloomington we followed. I was so excited ordering today, but something was off. It took 2 phone calls and a text before someone even answered. Was told someone was almost done with the order. The Natalie herselr camera from the back of the home and said it will be a quick second the order is just about ready. 20 minutes laster she came out. Like I said something was off and not in a good way. I only wish they the best and will order again when it looks like what was off is resolved.
strangest donut experience ever! donuts online expect a small batch gourmet product. I arrived in a house. called the number per website direction to pick my zimt sugared and beignet combo dozens. the owner said they were on a delivery and would be back in five. I waited 40 minutes and called back and was told 5 minutes. has waited another magic. Finally, the box of donuts was taken to the car. I didn't order anything. I have requested a refund. I'm not a donut expert, but these aren't small batch-gourmet donuts. I really try to support small businesses, but definitiv will not be back.

I ordered donuts from this restaurant and had the worst experience. I placed a pick-up order at 9 o'clock and arrived 5 minutes later. I was told they were on a delivery, so I waited for 35 minutes. I couldn't wait any longer because I needed to get back to the office for work. I asked if they could deliver the donuts to my job, and the staff said they could. However, I didn't receive my order until 1 o'clock, despite waiting nearly an hour. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I ordered donuts for my daughter's birthday and went to pick them up, but there was no answer to the phone, text, or door despite trying several times. My daughter was very disappointed as she had enjoyed the donuts before and was looking forward to having them again. I hope to hear back from the restaurant soon.
The donuts were very good the service was very good once we placed our order. This is not a traditional store front obviously the person works hard and the donuts are fresh and tasty. I would definitely give them a try.
We ordered donuts for a morning pickup, the donuts were ready 8 hours LATE. She subbed out several of the donuts types without telling us and shorted us 6 donuts. I do not recommend using this place.
