Would put four and a half stars. Food is really good. Kind of pricey, I?m willing to pay, but will eat here only on occasion. Staff is good, not chik-fil-a good, but better than most other fast foods. If you get a beverage, i would recommend to order inside the restaurant or ask for easy ice. If you order a drink via drive-thru then you will pay $2.50, I believe this is correct since the receipt I?m given doesn?t show cost per item, for a cup with mostly ice and the fluid will be less than a 12 oz can. Always busy, but service never waivers. Everyone is always friendly and making sure we get our food in a timely manner. Lately, I've been doing the drive-thru for the speedy line movement and just didn't think i went fast enough, so i would always park. I'm glad they are providing excellent service regardless of in restaurant or drive-thru. Parking: It's located in a shopping center so it's well spaced for plenty of customers to park. I really love the hot pastrami here, but I've noticed it can be inconsistent. Sometimes the sandwich is absolutely perfect and reminds me of Philippe in L.A., while other times the pastrami tastes like it came from McDonald's or Subway—just basic. The large serving of French fries can also be hit or miss; they’re sometimes perfect, but other times they arrive barely warm and not fresh. Additionally, despite what looks like a full staff, the wait time in the drive-thru is just ridiculous.
We had a great first-time experience eating pastrami chili cheese fries at The Hat. I was full after 8 bites, and the three of us could only finish two-thirds of it. Taste wise, the fries and chili could use a little more salt, in my opinion. But overall, it's just a big messy combination of carb and calorie unfriendly goodness. Pastrami sandwich was great, loads of Pastrami Location in Temple City was almost deserted when we arrived at 2 pm on a Sunday afternoon. Got busier afterward.

The food is good. The cups they give you for soda machine drinks are AWFUL! The paper cups are wafer thin, and before you drink about half of the cup, the cup becomes like wet paper. It is my belief that they purposely give these cups so you can not refill them after the first fill because they virtually melt! Awful, cheap, regarding the soda cups!!!
I ordered two pastrami dips and a side of fries. One of the pastrami sandwiches was cut three-quarters of the way instead of in half, which suggests a lack of attention to detail. The other sandwich wasn’t cut at all! Additionally, I didn’t receive a receipt during the transaction.
This restaurant offers some of the best Pastrami Dips in all of Los Angeles! I've been a regular for years, and even though prices have increased, the food and service consistently remain excellent. Plus, there’s free parking available in the lot.
Great place for a fast delicious meal. I always go to the Pastrami Dip and I'm always happy. You pack a lot of pastrami in the sandwich! It is also fairly fast prepared!
