Was meeting friends for dinner and drinks and I was the first to arrive. Couldn’t find a table with low chairs and was preparing to leave once my friends got there. I was asked if I needed help by a very nice man who then proceeded to find me and my friends a table. So appreciative! The food was really good, as were the drinks. The staff and service is outstanding. The live music was amazing and I appreciate the artists as they gave up the table that we sat at. A great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone. Beautiful building too with some really interesting history and memorabilia.
I can't believe I hadn't been to The Hose Hound before but I will definitely be back. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for some appies and drinks. It can be unassuming from the outside but the interior is bright and open. The fact this used to be a fire hall is not lost at all. They have a pretty decent drink menu with some local craft beers on tap. The food was pretty good for standard pub fare but the service really made for a good time. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I will absolutely be back.
Team booked this place to celebrate success at work! Overall environment was very enjoyable. On a Thursday night it was a busier then norm. Food took ages to come, 3 of our members were waiting for food while everyone else was almost done eating. On an another note, NO vegetarian food (besides a veggie burger), thinking that we are in 2023 and fast food places have veggie options way more than this place. Little said on that note. Wouldn’t recommend this place for vegetarians peeps.
The food and drinks were great! Our server was very polite, efficient, attentive and friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the history of the fire hall itself is very entertaining. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
