I recently dined at a classic neighborhood steakhouse. We started with avocado egg rolls, which came with an unusual barbecue sauce that surprisingly worked well. The clam chowder was creamy and full of clam shells; while it could have used a bit more salt, I would definitely enjoy it again. The ribeye was cooked to my requested medium-rare and was well-seasoned. I made the mistake of swapping my baked potato for beans, which were quite mediocre. On a positive note, the apple cake was really good. Overall, it’s a fantastic neighborhood steak place. While it’s not fancy, it offers a great meal coupled with friendly service. I'll definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful meal with the HBD fami...

The Cajun Rib Eye Steak was well-seasoned, but it was a bit overcooked for my taste. Since it’s served on a metal hot plate, the steak continues to cook even after it’s plated. I suggest ordering your steak a little less done than you normally would. The baked potato was perfectly fluffy, generously slathered with creamy, high-quality butter. The garlic bread was enjoyable as well. The Flat Iron Steak was marinated and quite tender. It was a hearty cut of beef with a great sear. The portion size was just right, though the mashed potatoes and gravy could have used a bit more flavor. I think I’ll opt for the baked potato next time. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

The steaks are outstanding, whether you choose a ribeye or a bacon-wrapped filet mignon. One of my personal favorites is The Stockyard; it's a hidden gem! YUM! Be sure to start with the onion rings as an appetizer. We like to take some of the crispy batter around the onion ring and set it aside. When the baked potato arrives, I recommend melting some butter on it, then adding those crunchy bits for an amazing flavor combination. The only downside is that it's a small place, so wait times can sometimes be long. But trust me, it's worth it! Give it a try; you won't be disappointed. Just make sure to arrive early!

I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, but after last night's experience, I'm not sure if I'll return. I ordered a filet and requested it to be cooked medium rare, but it arrived a bit too rare for my liking. When I asked for it to be cooked a little longer, it turned out to be a BIG MISTAKE! The waitress brought it back overcooked and tough as leather! To her credit, she offered to prepare another meal, but by the time I would have received it, the rest of my party would have already finished theirs. This is a steakhouse, and they should know how to get it right the first time! Book a table now

I sampled their Impossible burgers, and just like everything else on the menu, they were fantastic. Our server, Monique, was attentive and helpful. On her suggestion, my wife and I decided to order the burger. I must emphasize that it was quite a sizable hamburger. If you're not particularly hungry or prefer not to save half for later, it might be best to choose something else. As for me, I was definitely hungry.

The Hungry Bear is perhaps the best restaurant in Fullerton. The special steak is very good. Put some steak sauce on it and it's perfect. The best steak I had at the age! The vegetable beef soup was also excellent. The service is great. The staff is very courteous and friendly. All in all, to dinate one of the best places in the Fullerton area, and I recommend everyone to try out their delicious steaks.

I found a fantastic deal on Groupon for a dipping dinner for two. The steak was delicious, along with the other dishes we tried. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and filled with bear-themed decor. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this place.

A nice, casual restaurant located kitty corner from St Jude Medical Center. My friend and I stopped in on St Patrick's Day and we each had the Reuben sandwich and a soft drink. We both enjoyed the taste of our food. The server was friendly and attentive. Hope to return another time soon.
