Amazing dining experience this evening. Sharer platter was out of this world. Main courses excellent. Bottle of house red lovely. Staff and service wonderful. How lucky are we to have such a wonderful restaurant only 5 minutes walk from our front door?? Went to Alberts in Standish last week. Food was average, service appalling. In future we will stick close to home where the welcome is warm, the food excellent and the prices very reasonable. Well done to all of the staff at the “Imp” you are all 5 Star.
Went for tea with my grandmother who uses a walker and they couldn't have been more helpful making sure we were at a suitable table and her walker wasn't in the way but near at hand. Staff are so friendly and couldn't do more to make the trip a pleasant experience. The food is very well made with large portions. We both ended up leaving some we were that full. We had a spicy dish and the staff noticed the streaming noses from it and without comment passed extra tissues to us. 100% well go again
The waitresses at the restaurant were excellent, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. I ordered the chicken korma, but was disappointed to find only three small pieces of chicken and a watery sauce. The poppadoms were stale as well. All three of us ordered the Malteser and salted caramel sundae, but I received only half a Malteser and my mom received none. Overall, I would not choose to dine at this restaurant again.
Best thing about this pub is the staff. Very personable, welcoming and friendly. Table Service is seamless. Food is simple but never disappointing. Atmosphere is family friendly with nice colourful sunny decor and always clean.

they just eat here for dinner the eating was amazing and the staff were very friendly and even better we just £1 for the kids meal and my men and my men on 2 4 1 excellent price-performance ratio will go back and recommend
Popped in for a bite to eat. Had the firecracker chicken which was delicious. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a lovely pub and quite large. Highly recommended
Nice atmosphere. Had Sunday Roast dinner which was filling. My partner asked.for more gravy which it needed but it was very tasty. Could have done with a sharper knife though.
great eating, 2 meals for £13! good part and really great service by the staff, was so welcomed by the girl behind the bar, will definitely visit again
