I am extremely dissatisfied with this restaurant. I ordered fried mushrooms, and when they arrived, the breading wasn't adhering properly, and the mushrooms were slightly burnt. Having worked in restaurants for 16 years, I should have recognized that something was off. After eating just two or three mushrooms, I became violently ill and started projectile vomiting in the bathroom about 30 minutes later. I couldn't stop for a full 24 hours. I ended up in the hospital, where I received two bags of IV fluids due to severe dehydration. I'm prepared to bring in my hospital bills as proof of my experience!
I always enjoy the atmosphere and the English breakfast at this restaurant. Today, I had a late lunch, and everything was fantastic. The salmon tacos were a special, and they were absolutely delicious—very fresh and full of flavor. Their sidewinder fries are always a hit for me. The Buffalo chicken wrap was also outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised when the chef brought us the dessert special: a warm blonde brownie topped with brown sugar and ice cream, which was simply to die for. I will definitely be returning!
The pub has a fantastic atmosphere! If you’re a soccer fan, this is the perfect spot to catch a match with fellow enthusiasts. It’s a wonderful addition to the local scene and is conveniently located next to the Down Easter train station, making it an easy day trip to enjoy The Beautiful Game.

Loved the sausage roils! The pastry for pasties was a little dry. Loved the chocolate cake! Next time will try the shepherd’s pie.
Fantastic staff and a lively atmosphere for watching soccer and rugby. The food is consistently delicious and offers great value.
