Dinner reservation at 8:30, I believer we walked out just before 11pm. It took about an hour just to get our drinks and then food followed about a 1/2 hour after that. Luckily we were catching up with another family so conversation made the wait tolerable. My problem was that our waitress kept saying there was no bar service and what was taking so long. However they didn’t seem short staffed as there was always 6 to 8 employees around the service station. My other problem was one of them was vaping. Is that a thing? Ok, the food was as expected, boils were great, fried meals good. Nothing stood out as exceptional. Our server was super sweet. Just watching all those employees standing around...
The food was good but not as good as it usually is. The shrimp was also smaller. The eggs were overlooked and harder than boiled eggs should be. The floor is a slip hazard. I voiced this to the server and she directed me to the manager. The manager said that because of the rain, it’s worse. It has been slippery even when it hasn’t rained. I recommended more mats on the floors. The manager said that the employees are aware of the slippery floors and know what shoes to wear. I told her that customers won’t be aware when they come in and that I almost slipped a few times. I had to walk extremely slow to walk around to the restroom and around the restaurant. I figured telling her about the issue...
I had reservation and had to wait 45 minutes to be seated is what the hostess said well if waiting after that amount off time this couple walks in and hostess states everyone follow me never ask who was next or anything so we followed her to the seating area only to be told we would have to wait another 15 min, she thought we were the couple and their 2 children who just arrived. You know its alright to hire someone for the job but they definitely need to do a better job of training the people. Good customer service seems to have been thrown out the window or never been taught at various places these days
The food and the customer service is cool. I just feel they need to do some high dusting for the airborne dust particles. Take an air compressor and catch those rafters and lights. Other than that I didn't see any other issues that stuck out to me.
