As I wanted somewhere with a loud vibrant atmosphere, I emailed a couple of different venues around Perth. Jennifer at the Left Bank was not only the only person to respond, but she responded within the first day of emailing and could possibly be the most organised, polite and helpful person I have ever spoken to. It was a quiet Thursday morning, however we waited far too long for our food. I approached the counter and when she couldn’t work out why we were still waiting she asked me to step aside whilst she served another customer. I returned to my...seat thinking she would come and apologise and explain.....she didn’t. So I waited some more. I re approached the counter and spoke to another staff person who told me they were having paper receipt issues. I requested a complimentary glass of wine, which was refused. what a dreadful evening, we went for a friends birthday, 4 of the meals didn't come out , then they accused us of getting the meal and basically called us liars, by the time they sorted it out, it was too late. they were still getting other peoples food to them and not our food , even though they were getting the same food we ordered. The manager hide behind the door and didn't even come out to the table to discuss the issues. unless you want to be treated like rubbish don"t go to this place, there are plenty of other good places around Freo, where you'll be treated with respect. Some people don't seem to realize that its the service that pays their wages
Great location to enjoy a brief reunion with former workmates. Great ambience, prompt friendly service at the bar, drinks were cold, nice outdoor area; I would have rated excellent but for the haphazard delivery of meals and slow delivery from the kitchen. Nothing wrong with the meals when delivered, adequate quantity on the plate and very enjoyable. The venue offers great vistas over the Swan River. Plenty of parking spaces available both at the venue and adjacent car park and streets. Definitely recommended for an enjoyable lunch.

What should have been a nice relaxing meal out was totally ruined by the behaviour of other patrons. Children are children but the parents should go to a park with take away if they want their youngsters to scream and run around and climb on the furniture and fittings.I did see a waitress talking to some of the older children at one point. It made no difference.The meals are pretty standard pub fare. The house wine wasn't available.I don't think I'll go back any time soon.
My partner and I recently had a function in Billy's Lounge and Verandah. It was a great night, with good music. They have a good selection of drinks and the function food platters were great! They got the pool table out for us and everyone had a great night. The event manager was delightful and couldn't have been more helpful. All round it was a great night, all our guest really enjoyed the night as did we.Would definitely have another function here :)
We had a 40th birthday celebration at the Left Bank and found the staff to be super accommodating and friendly. The location is great and has a wonderful view of the river. The staff were so efficient and we could not fault their service. Everyone had an amazing time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. My previous experience here in summer was also fantastic. Thank you!!!
Nice spot on the river, fun live music sometimes too. The food is very average pub grub, but for a few drinks on the water it's a winner, no cocktails but good casual few beers

Went for lunch with some friends and had the crayfish. Friend couldn't believe how great the value was for the CF. Great value and great location.
Came here after a disappointing start at Tradewinds. Staff friendly. Food very good as was the value for money.
