We visited Lime Tree restaurant with 9 friends to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and what a wonderful place it was to eat, the food, service, location and staff were fabulous. We were welcomed at the door by Rob the manager and shown to our seats, The starters were brought out in perfect time as Rob and Mhairi had emailed us previously to confirm our selection as everything is brought in fresh and made to order. The majority of us had the 3 course meal and were truly stuffed with delicious food, perfect sized portions. We were staying in Hartfell House, of which this restaurant is a part, so ate here for supper. it is great a small restaurant with a short but varied menu and run by people who care. We wanted a few changes to the dishes and this was no problem at all. The food is good relative to the price and the service is excellent. Recommended
Visited as part of an 11 person night out. The food, service and staff were first rate. Food was outstanding and ample quantity. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Location was in a quiet and stunning location. Thank you to the staff and would highly recommend the restaurant.
