New Hope!. I have been several times over the past couple of weeks and just WOW, what a difference this place is already now that they have some new owners! I have been living in the circle for over a year now and first visited the Crown in Jan of 2011. The service was terrible, among many other things. Spoke with the owners (at the time) on many occasions, and to be frank, they just didn't seem to know what the hell they were doing. Glad to see it's finally under new ownership and I hope to continue to see good things to come. The new weekly drink specials and live music weekend events are a great welcome! If you already crossed this place off your list of places to hang out...time to pull...
I used to love this place years ago, but after many staff changes, it lost its charm for me. I visited again last night for the first time in a while and was delighted to see it back to its former glory. The bar was clean, the current staff is fantastic, and the drinks were spot on. I noticed a patron who came in from another bar in rough shape, and the bar staff—possibly the manager, John or Josh—handled the situation with professionalism and tact. They also had a live band performing last night, which may be a regular feature on Fridays, and they sounded great. My friends and I had a blast playing pool. The bar has a lovely atmosphere, but unfortunately, my experience with the bartenders was quite disappointing. Despite other reviews praising the staff, I struggle to understand that perspective based on my visit. The service was extremely slow, and some of the staff's behavior came across as discriminatory. When my Black friend went to purchase a round of drinks, he was the only one in our group asked to pay in advance before receiving his order. Having worked in the service industry for nearly ten years, I've never encountered anything like this before.
I ordered a draft beer, but the price wasn’t what was advertised for the night I was there. Also, the promotion advertised karaoke, but there was only a chess club instead. To top it off, the bar had a musty smell. I don’t plan on going back, especially since MuckyDuck is just down the road, offering better prices, a more welcoming atmosphere, and actually following through on their promotions.

An absolute hidden gem in Addison at The Post! The next time we're at the Addison Conference and Theatre Centre, we'll definitely plan to stop by this quaint little English pub. The $5.99 lunch pub burger with fries was incredible—I can't understand why this place isn't packed. It's honestly the best burger I've had in Dallas!
Free atmosphere and it's a bar that you can actually hear each other in. The beverages are quite good. The food is okay. Three of us tried different dishes and none of us would probably order them again But we figure we'll come back here and have some beverages and relax some afternoon and just snack.
I just discovered this restaurant, which is only 5 minutes away from me and I’ve lived here for over 2 years. The staff is fantastic, and they have an excellent selection of beers and tasty food. I also had the chance to enjoy a Saturday concert outside!
This is a fantastic pub located in the heart of Addison. It truly gave me a taste of England! If you're in the mood for bangers and mash, this is definitely the spot to visit. The prices are very reasonable, and the bartenders are quite attractive too.

I absolutely loved the Lion and the Crown! I enjoy visiting this restaurant/bar frequently. The wait staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is just right. I highly recommend it for a night out that's definitely worth your time and money!
This is an amazing place with a laid-back vibe and welcoming staff. Adam is doing a great job overseeing everything and making sure that everyone has a fantastic experience.
