I am not sure if the owners have been reading recent reviews or if the last few customers had just visited on off days, but my experience at this restaurant was excellent. We ordered the crab cake Benedict, which was generously filled with crab. It was a bit too salty for our taste, but that may appeal to others who enjoy saltier dishes. The mushroom Reuben was also delicious - so good that I forgot to snap a picture before devouring half of it. The service was efficient and friendly. While the prices were not cheap, they were in line with what you would expect for dining in DC. ?
The food at this restaurant is tasty, but unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. The hostess, who also served as our waitress, was preoccupied with her phone, resulting in subpar service. Additionally, there were two other employees present, although it was unclear what their roles were as they were seated at a table. Despite the delicious food and pleasant ambiance, the lackluster service taints the overall dining experience.
The hostess ignored our reservation and seated someone who arrived after us. Our drinks were served after our meal. The shrimp salad had a strange taste, and I had to use a prepared dressing instead of olive oil. They were out of ice cream, which was disappointing. I have tried this restaurant multiple times and it never improves. I will not be returning.
Food is delicious. Service is poor. The hostess was also the waitress and she was primarily on her phone so service was eh. There were two other employees, not sure what their role was, and sat at a table. The food and ambiance is great so itâs unfortunate the service is poor.

I get the fungal reuben sandwich every time! so delicious! we appreciate the mint, cucumbers limonade and baked sweet potatoes and the best.
The food was creative and amazing. It is a great place for vegetarians or people who want to eat healthily. We will definitely go back!
The sweet broiled sweet potato side and the brussel sprouts with bacon and mustard seed was fantastic
