I had a missing item from my order and the owner, Bill Rizzuto, took the time to email me to apologize. I support local businesses and avoid chains as much as possible. The Lobster Shack/Rizzuto's has an owner who does take pride in their businesses and they really care about their customers. Besides saying all this about the management of this establishment, we all did enjoy our lobsters and lobster rolls. I highly recommend their food and will be back soon!
Had 2 lobster rolls the Compo and Classic Maine. They looked pretty but Lobster on both was overcooked. Very overpriced at $60 for 2 lobster rolls that were a bit rubbery and coleslaw that tasted store bought. The staff member that served us was very nice. Won't be back, not worth the price. We don't recommend as they're overpriced for the quality.
These are hands down the best lobster rolls we've ever tasted! We drove 45 minutes to get here, and it was absolutely worth the trip. Every aspect exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional, and the outdoor seating offered a wonderful sense of privacy. We had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to come back for more lobster!
As lobster enthusiasts, we rated this restaurant a 4 because it stands out among many options in the Stamford area. The lobster was freshly cooked, and instead of ordering two regular lobsters, we decided to go for one king-sized portion, which was $6 cheaper than ordering two regular ones and was filled with plenty of lobster meat. I took our grandkids on a special trip here to see the big lobster. I had assumed the building was made in the shape of one. It was pretty disappointing to see a regular restaurant instead. I guess I misunderstood what the name meant. We decided to eat there anyway and the food was really good, so that kind of made up for it.
Without a doubt, these are the best lobster rolls in Connecticut! They are consistently fresh, buttery, and delicious. The food is outstanding, and the service is excellent, provided by a kind and friendly team. Be sure not to miss this hidden gem!
