The day of the father with the girl's friend it passed and had one of the best meals! Our waiter was friendly and attentive also with other tables and what seemed to be a wedding party of the lady at the bar. My friend ordered Beat Salad and Fettuccini Alfredo. I ordered the steak sandwich. We couldn't believe how good everything was and we ate everything! It was so good that we told our waiter to give supplements to the cook, and then she came out to talk to us. Chef Shonte Bills, your food was wonderful! We'll try something again soon!
This is a hidden jewel in Benicia. You want to ask, in any case, to sit in conversation. It is cozy and romantic. The music from the player piano is lovely! My husband and I enjoyed the most amazing truffle parmesan Mac and cheese as an appetizer. He wanted to book me a beef Wellington. He enjoyed a delicious fillet mignon. The portions were large and we had to bring home left. Our waitress suggested the chocolate banana bomb Dessert. Yum!
First time here. Celebration of a birthday. Pricey for sure but worth having a beef Wellington. A tad salty. Not sure it was from the prosciutto wrap on the filet or the salt on top of the pastry dough. I was surprised when they didn't come out with a birthday ice cream or slice of something. I mean it would definitely change the outlook for the celebration evening.
Tonight, it's a really sweet spot. It was literally welcomed by all staff. The drinks were amazing like the food. I loved how the cook would check on us, made the experience feel very cozy. My friend and I were the first to try the shrimp alfredo, delicious! Around a great time and pleasant atmosphere.
