If this is what people traveling to Memphis judge Memphis by, I apologize for all. We had an 11:45AM reservation for 3, there was confusion over taking the elevator up and we were told to stand in line with everyone else (if you have reservations, bypass the entire line and go to the front). We were 10 minutes late to the reservation. The restaurant was 30-40% capacity. It took 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee. For anyone who doesn't like pesto, go ahead and order the chicken pesto sandwhich because there was absolutely no pesto, or even a pesto seasoning, on the chicken. Instead, it was a grilled chicken sandwhich with pickles (an option that wasn't even on the menu). The catfish poboy is...

Having to pay $8 to ride elevator to pay $68 for steak is ridiculous! Elevator ride should be included. The atmosphere picture doesn’t prepare you for the touristy crowded bar area it is. Having tourist milling around your table getting views outside was not as nice as you would think. The portions are small for price, the vegetable plate was disappointing. Steak $68 is just a steak no side. Sides are $10 each. The menus online are old prices, no option to add a side for $5 and steak prices are wrong. Also, less options available. However, it appears the lunch may be better! Charcuterie was good, especially the bread and pimento cheese spread. Very small portions, except for the sausage. The...
We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The hostess was the rudest we’ve ever encountered. Despite the fact that the dining room was 60% empty, we were told there would be a 40-minute wait. After speaking to the manager, we were finally seated with our party of five. Our server seemed unmotivated and two of our entrees arrived cold and bland. We ordered the fries with cheese as an appetizer and requested an extra side of cheese, but the cook refused to provide it to the server. I had to ask the manager again to get the extra cheese. Overall, the staff appeared to lack enthusiasm. I left a tip of over 20% out of courtesy, but my husband was not pleased. I deeply re...
What an incredible experience! Head up to the top via the elevator and get ready for an unbeatable view. I recommend visiting at sunset; use the Panorama setting on your camera and capture the scenery from west to east. The decor and ambiance are truly one-of-a-kind, featuring a large circular aquarium behind the bar and Steampunk-inspired artwork hanging from the ceiling. The food is absolutely fantastic—everything is delicious, but make sure to try Executive Chef Pinky's ribs; they are a must! As for kid-friendliness, children of all ages are welcome and will be captivated by all the sights. Book a table now
We visited St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis to see our granddaughter, and we were a group of 12, including 3 sets of grandparents, aunts, cousins, and siblings—8 adults and 4 children. Unfortunately, the manager refused to seat us all together, stating that he needed to maintain balance for his waitstaff. This was the worst decision he could have made. The manager was rude and inflexible about accommodating our family. As a result, we all decided to leave the restaurant and promised never to return.
We had reservations May 23, 2024. Lunch menu have better options. The baked chicken needed seasoning and nothing Spectacular about the cream potatoes and they taste like they came out the box or very little seasoning. The crab eggrolls was very meaty but the dough on the inside was raw. Did not care for the photographer walking around taking pictures while we’re eating. The food was a waste of our money. The wings was tasty. The martini was good in the view outside was nice.
Whether for date nights or family dinners, The Lookout at the Pyramid is a fantastic choice for an evening out. We enjoy it every time we visit. The stunning view is unforgettable, and the mechanical fish swimming in the aquarium add a unique touch. The beautiful scenery is a definite highlight, but the food is excellent as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I absolutely loved my experience at The Lookout At The Pyramid! The view was spectacular, and our server was outstanding. The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes that truly impressed us. If you’re in Memphis, The Lookout At The Pyramid is definitely a must-visit! Book a table now
