This place is awesome! They put a lot of care into the atmosphere and food. It’s one of the only places in Seattle with classic sides like baked potato and mashed. I had the Reuben sandwich and it was fantastic. Perfectly toasted rye with kraut, Swiss cheese, and tender slices of seasoned beef. Possibly the best Reuben ever. The food came out hot within 15 minutes, service was diligent and consistent, and I can’t understand how they turn a profit with such great prices! Overall a fabulous experience. I’m going to try the prime rib next.

This restaurant and pub/bar has a traditional atmosphere with classic dishes on the menu. I ordered the cod fish and received coleslaw and salad on the side. The coleslaw was decent, but the fish was a bit soggy inside despite having a crispy batter. The salad consisted mostly of iceberg lettuce with a sweet and thick Italian dressing that was not to my liking. Overall, I would still recommend this place as it is a classic establishment, and it may just be a matter of finding the right items on the menu that suit your taste.
I visited The Broiler for the first time yesterday. Our server in the main room, Jon, was excellent. His service was top-notch and I would return just for him. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. The $1 upgrade for the onion rings was definitely worth it. I also enjoyed a fantastic pomegranate martini. After the dining room closed, we moved to the cocktail lounge and had a delicious boozy hot drink. Overall, a great experience.
Pleasant as usual. Meat quality has definitely gone downhill since I first started coming over 50 years ago !!! . Prime rib was tasteless, a bit tough. Potato still delicious. My brother really enjoyed his teriyaki steak. Wine prices remarkably reasonable. I come back because it’s an icon that holds pleasant memories, not for the food. Book a table now
We stop by this restaurant whenever we are in the neighborhood. They serve good food at reasonable prices with very attentive service and kindness. It's very much a neighborhood restaurant with a warm casual feel. If you are looking for the dining equivalent of a warm hug you can't really go wrong here.
Loved this place for years!! It's like an old sweater that just keeps getting as time goes on. It's really exciting to see developers city planners in Seattle tear the fabric out in places that unite the community in order to put profits and high occupancy dwellings in their place.
I give 5 stars, staff are very friendly and the service were amazing. We love this place. It was our first visit tonight 10-22-2023 and they made my bday extra special! Thank you all so much for the birthday icecream

This place is an absolute treasure! It won't win a James Beard award but the food is good, drinks are amazing, it is affordable and the retro ambiance is amazing.

"Amazing 360 degree views of Seattle and beyond! Makes the Space Needle look tiny from up there, and it's also nice that they offer food and beverages up there. Worth the cost of admission and uncrowded, even on the Saturday we went."
