I had never been to the Main Event but found them through a google search for my husbands 40th surprise party. I could not be happier with how things turned out! A huge thank you to Gina and Mike!! They are incredible! I spoke and met with Gina several times leading up to the day from going over the menu to room set up and going over little details. I left each time more excited and glad I picked the Main Event! The food was amazing, everyone went back for seconds and thirds. We had around 88 people and the room was a perfect size and was laid out exactly how I wanted it. My husband and I went to watch the boxing fight with Canelo and GGG. From the moment we walked inside..nothing but smiles and great vibes from every member. There are so many flat screens everywhere. Which means,no bad seats to watch anything. The service was super, our server Brandi was great. She was very attentative to our table and when our extra guests arrived, she had their order right away. The food was delicious and not over priced at all! I would definitely recommend..and I will definitely be going back. Thank you The Main Event for a great first time experience.
I recently hosted a surprise birthday party for my brother at this restaurant. The owner, Mike, along with the staff and food, were all fantastic. We had a great time celebrating together in our own section with excellent service and delicious food. I will definitely consider hosting future events here. My wife and I discovered this location in Plainview during Hurricane Sandy and have since become fans of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place for a meal, watching a game, or hosting an event!
My sister and brother-in-law hosted their baby's first birthday party at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food was delicious! The buffet brunch included eggs, bacon, French toast, pasta, chicken francese, French fries, chicken fingers, sliders, and the most delicious stuffed shells. They also make a fantastic Bloody Mary. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent service by the server Nick. The manager even came by to check on every table what was nice. The seafood is fresh and many choices of burgers, appetizers, steak, pasta and fish. Very clean and beautiful environment. Lots of parking, too. I had the stuffed seafood plate. It was absolutely AMAZING. I'm hosting my birthday party there in a few weeks. You have a private room on the site perfect for it. I couldn't think of a better place.
Love the huge menu of all kinds for your taste. The food is better quality and tasty it is much more than just bar food and the portions are great to share. Gina and Mike are very hospitable owners and always make sure our events are extras. Great place to watch all sports, go on a casual date, the kids and even a place to have your event. Love is here!
What a fantastic establishment! In an area chock full of chain restaurants and corporate owned eateries and meat markets, this place is a gem. Family owned and operated, the management and staff are second to none. So accommodating and impressive. It's a great place for any type of group meeting! Can't wait to go back!
The service at the restaurant during UFC214 was excellent. Despite having a large group, the wait staff was quick and accommodating. They efficiently handled separate orders and checks for all of us, making sure everything was done accurately.
