We visited before Xmas and had a horrible experience. There was no chow mein or a similar style dish in the menu but the staff suggested mixed meet noodles which were also not in the menu. We got a small bowl od dry noodles each and we had to ask for a sauce on the side. It wasn 't nice meal. When our bill arrived, we noticed that 10% service charge was added to our bill. Mandarin Fusion is an excellent restaurant with truly wonderful staff. We have visited a few times and the food is always delicious. We had made a reservation for Valentine's Day, but realized that one of the dishes on the set menu contained peanuts, which my partner is allergic to. I reached out to Mandarin Fusion through WhatsApp, even though it was after hours, and the staff went out of their way to answer my questions and reassure me that my partner would be safe dining with them. So the service was very much left alone unless you need something which felt a bit rude in a way but the food was good. Too much choice in my opinion but the amount didn 't compromise the flavour. Good rich flavour but nothing really wowed me. It was nice to eat with a serving bowl to combine the rice and curry before eating with chopsticks, I haven 't seen that in many restaurants and think it should be adapted more. For the price, you get nice dining experience with a nice general but beautiful atmosphere but that 's about it.
I'm so happy to have found this lovely place I'd almost given up trying to find somewhere near me that does quality food. Arrived on time nicely packaged food was so tasty from the meat dishes to the vegetarian dishes. I would say more sauce please for the sweet and sour chicken balls not a complaint at all it was really good. Portion sizes are good very pleased thank you

many vegan options, very nice eating, beautiful decor and great service. the employees have copied our large group of about 20 people very well. in contrast to another place in the opposite, each of our 2 long tables were served our meals at the same time, so we eat together and rehearsal eating. everything really felt organized and the personal had not missed a beat.
Used to go to this place regularly but haven’t been since Covid struck. It was the best in town. Tried it again last night and we were very disappointed. The chicken was tough. The crispy duck was very dry and not crispy. We had enough spring onion and cucumber for one pancake even though there were 6 pancakes. The katsu chicken had soft skin on it. Say no more.
We have been going to mandarin for over 10 years and in that time we’ve noticed a big decline in the food and taste of the food. We had a meal the other night and after spending a lot of money this will now be our last meal at the restaurant. I’m not sure if the chef has changed over recent months/years but it’s sadly our last visit.
Had a nice experience here last night and the food was lovely. Would've given 5 stars but this restaurant doesn't take negative feedback in a professional manner having read some of the other reviews, which would suggest that if there is an issue for whatever reason, they don't care.

Had banana fritters from many places around the world, theirs is one of the best. Lovely service, good food will definitely return.
Always go to The Mandarin for a family takeaway. Pre ordered and collected at given time, all ready. Lovely very tasty meal.
