We haven’t been to the Mint room in quite awhile and as it’s changing management we decided to give it a go . As all our other visits to this restaurant we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was also excellent. My wife has some very difficult allergies and this restaurant caters for her in a first class way . If the new restaurant continues to provide the same quality and service and we were told by the new manager that they want to improve on their menu choices) it’s bound to succeed. I’m looking forward to seeing what the new restaurant will be like.
We took our daughter here when we popped down to see her at Uni. We have been here three times before, and each time has got worse. This latest visit was really, really poor. The service was poor. From the initial non welcome through the table service, it was very flat and going through the motions. The food was also totally unremarkable. It was like eating very average untasty deliveroo takeaway curry, not the claimed fine dining Indian. The only standout point, was the price of the bill. I would avoid. There are many, many better Indian restaurants to try in Bristol.
Wanted to say good things…. However, Service was, slow felt like they were understaffed ….. 1 1/2 hours and mains not arrived, quick to serve drinks until we asked for tap water !! Food was spot on for flavor but mine was luke warm, it was sent back with no quibbles but it meant we ended up eating separately. Such a shame, feels like it was a one off but nonetheless a little disappointing. W we had some money off but that’s not what we went out for…. I think another night there would give a different experience was my perspective.
Another fantastic visit. As usual all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was SENSATIONAL. We lashed out and had the 'Taste of India ' tasting menu with the 'wine flight '. A do not miss experience. If you enjoy Indian food we would recommend this venue as one of the top eateries in the South West. BOOK NOW you will not be disappointed.

Went here last Friday, and boy are we glad!!! Such a different menu so you order out of your comfort zone a little. Every starter/main was amazing defo will be going back.
After an excellent meal at The Mint Room in Bath, this restaurant proved to be every bit as good. Superb food and wonderful friendly service highly recommended
The food was excellent as normal and the service is always top class. We had a very private table for the two of us and the whole experience was very good
French service and style Indian. Best in Bristol, different dishes like rabbit and quail. Will be back again , superb experience
