The restaurant used to be much better before it was under new ownership. The food is still good and the coffee is enjoyable, but the service from the waiting staff is lacking. They seem disinterested in the customers and often appear to be just standing around looking busy. It is off-putting when they bring the bill to the table before you have even received your food, and it definitely doesn't make you feel welcome. The staff seem tense and on edge, which is not surprising considering the owners are the same way. They should try to smile, relax, and get rid of the unpleasant piano accordion music. This restaurant used to be great, but now it has the atmosphere of a rock.
I always visit the missing piece while visiting macquarie. on her menu is the rise and shine croissant $12.90 I asked when I ordered a man took the order when I can have tomato instead of the egg. he said okay. when I asked about the...docket, I was charged every item individually $6.00 for a croissant $4.00 for ham $3.00 for cheese and wait for it $3.00 for tomaten a total price of $16 without the egg. the normal price on their menu $12.90 I would be a fool back. I will take care of another facility to have a coffee and refreshments. dee, I still have the docks. new management? I wonder
that is by far the best caffe in the shopping center macquarie. they surpass the quality of all others throughout the center, i.e. 4 stars. service is efficient and personal in the main are friendly. good eating, although a few more healthy options would be...help a suggestion is not saying “Wait” and then let the people wait for the sign and ignore it. either let them sit themselves or assign a certain employee member to participate in the waiting customers.
very poor service. the waitresses/waiters are very slow and messed up my whole order. table wasn’t wiped, meal took 30 minutes, uncomfortable chairs and not great food! Even the ladies on the table next to me were upset with the service!! wasn’t happy with the...experience and wouldn’t recommend.

The food was beautifully presented and the restaurant had a convenient location with lovely decorations. Although it was a bit pricey, it was worth the cost. However, the service was slow, even during a weekday lunch. There seemed to be enough staff, but it was unclear what they were all doing.
Been here a few times. It's always busy. Can have a bit of a queue at lunchtime but moves fairly quickly. Good service and friendly staff. Not cheap but not the most expensive cafe in the centre. Will come back again.
The breakfast at this restaurant is excellent, but be sure to arrive early as it fills up quickly. The food is standard fare, but all of it is satisfying and enjoyable.
the first time we ate here. the slides were delicious melt in mouth slowly cooked lamb. service excellent and friendly. coffee right. highly recommended.
