Staff were welcoming and it was explained to us that we would have to wait a little while for a seat because of overbooking which was a little disappointing. However, it was not a long wait and we both agreed that the food, (steak and ale pie and beef lasagne) were beautifully cooked.
We have been many times to the Pack Horse find it friendly lovely food...nothing is too much trouble for the chef. We are seriously waiting for the next venture to open in Birstal feel sure it will be every bit as good as the Pack Horse. Well done Sarah,Mel the team...
Food was good plenty choice on the menu value for money. Service was very good the waiter was well informed on the menu and choices. Only negative was the seating area was cluttered and we felt we were too close to the next two tables making it a little uncomfortable
