A great place for a meal. The Beresford burger was delicious! Well cooked and juicy! The bun could of been different, something more crisp and fresh. The bun reminded me of Mcdonalds cheese burger buns, but it was still nice!The upstairs club was super busy early on! I guess everyone comes out earlier nowadays due to the Sydney lockout times which happen after midnight.The bar service downstairs was great earlier in the night, but come about midnight it was difficult to get a drink. The downstairs bar staff were to busy cleaning the bar and packing up the bar and not interested in serving. waiting 10-15 minutes to get a drink, with one lady serving, the other 2 cleaning up the drink trays, w...
We were directed to this bar by staff at nearby Indu Restaurant (absolutely fantastic) and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be. From the moment we arrived, staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, professional and engaging. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and chatting with the barmen whilst our drinks were being prepared, and as we watched their work it was evident that they're excellent at all they do. The upstairs bar is thoughtfully laid out for a comfortable visit and it was certainly a pleasant place to spend an hour over a well mixed drink.This is one to keep on the list for a return next time we're in Sydney.
Wow wow wow! What a crazy good bar! First of all - whoever did this indesign - amazing. One more fascinating marivale venue. When we arrived we got greeted and seated very nicely. We were a group of five. The bartender asked for our names and used them the whole night. What a great personalized service! Thank you Gerald. What can I say about the drinks? I would call it art! We had a few and as it's a whiskey bar I tried the ones from the "house favorites" section. All of them are masterpieces! When I come back to Sydney one day, I will definitely come back to this bar!
The 3rd floor of this place is where you find Whiskey heaven. The staff are very knowledgeable and assisted my wife in choosing a very nice whiskey to suit her taste. The range is extensive and the whiskey based cocktails were awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, would definitely recommend for the whiskey lovers. We got here just before midnight and the place wasn't too crowded, food was on offer but we didn't purchase any. Great place to chill and enjoy the company.

Popped in late on a Monday night after dinner for a quiet drink. The ground floor is nothing special, but on level 3 there is a fantastic whiskey bar hiding. We had the pleasure of having Rick attending to us. He gave good advise and was very knowledgeble about the whiskey. A nice assortment of whiskey from around the world gave us some really memorable experiences. We had a very enjoyable evning!The interior was nice with plush sofas and a very retro feeling to it.
Gorgeous little whiskey and cocktail bar. You enter up some steep 70's tiled stairs into a cosy secret bar, it is super cute and perfect for date night. My husband and I try to go when we are in the city. My husband loves whiskey and I love cocktails. The staff were helpful. The interior is vintage cool with partially exposed original wall paper from its previous life.
On a cold winter evening after work I met some business colleagues here upstairs for drinks, and had some very good bar food. Staff were great, the food was delicious, the warming Whisky perfect, and the 3 bottles of Pinot Noir we consumed were obviously "just right". A great CBD bar.
Fabulous place, great whiskey cocktails, great music, service, loved the pub but very classic snacks, like mac&cheese, bagels with corned beef etc well made...vintage decor and great atmosphere. The music is not too loud so you can still have a conversation. Will gladly return.

A small top floor whiskey bar with great service and a great selection of whiskey's bourbons and others. Server took the time to walk through the large menu selection, to ask about my preferences and help select the whiskey that suited my palate at the time. Great job!
