This charming coffee shop located across from the beautiful Chalkwell Park is a wonderful spot to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake. Whether you've been playing in the park or just want to catch up with the locals, it's a welcoming place for all. Kids are catered for with a dedicated play area and plenty of high chairs, plus there's a selection of options on the menu for picky eaters of all ages. The friendly and inviting atmosphere, along with the effort put in by the new owners, gives this cafe a real sense of community. It's a refreshing addition to this otherwise bland stretch of road.
I stopped in with a friend and our babies and we loved it! Friendly atmosphere and great fresh food. Although we had to wait we were happy to do so as it was cooked to order and the children are served first as we could see at other tables which is as it should be. It's clear that many things need finishing such as a changing area/decor but that certainly doesn't take away from the overall great experience! Will definitely be returning.
Lovely food , such a lot of choice from cooked breakfast to ploughmans was spoilt for choice. Opted for the vegetarian breakfast wrap it was amazing. Followed by an iced latte delicious. The cakes looked scrumptious will have one next time. Loved the play area keeps the little ones busy. Such friendly helpful staff nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely come again.
They have a great kids area and do kids activities during school break. Food and drink was great. It was just really relaxing knowing my loud son wasn't disturbing anyone as it is a kids environment! The lady there was lovely. My on criticism would be to make it look abit nicer inside with some pictures and stuff but everything else was fab. Definitely going back again!

This adorable cafe is perfect for families with children, making it a breeze to unwind while enjoying a meal or a coffee and dessert with your little ones. The service is warm and inviting, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. I've visited twice since starting my maternity leave and will definitely be returning many more times.
Very disappointed. Smashed windows held together with plastic. What the heck happened to the last owners? It used to be a cafe you got fresh sandwiches and a lovely cup of tea.... No longer available at this place. Sad....

I enjoy bringing my daughter to The Nook for storytime and a nursery sing-along afterwards. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are lovely people who run the place.

Popped in and had a cooked breakfast,the sausages were beautiful.the place was fresh and clean.well worth a visit.much enjoyed.
Great coffee, lovely cake and staff who clearly love kids. Highly recommend. Great for a visit to the park too!
