We had been staying in Coventry for a weekend car show at the nec..the restaurant at the hotel was appaling so we spent ages on google looking for a good indian...this place has the highest marks so we decided to go with it...unfortunately the curry had no taste...5 pieces of chicken...cold french fries i would of gone to mcdonalds for them) onion barghi we flat and no taste. Mint sauce was ok...and the best part was the naan bread...although they were very helpful on the phone and delivery driver was lovely i cab say the curry was very disappointing Food: 1 Service: 2
No alcohol. The ambience is almost non existent and the seating uncomfortable. The service was very warm and friendly but inefficient. Drinks order was bungled and our bhindi bhaji side was missing completely and rushed to the table 5 min later. It was not very good bhindi. The tandoori chicken was nice and only very slightly over done. The lamb biryani really good. Tender lamb and a nice flavoursome mild vegetable curry accomplishment. I haven't been to this restaurant in quite a few years. It appears outdated and could use a renovation. The food was very disappointing and not very good. It seemed like it had been sitting and reheated to be honest. It lacked flavor. On a positive note, the staff were welcoming, polite, and friendly. Had a takeaway from here tonight for the first time, lovely food large portions and good value for your money. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice welcome soon as I entered the restaurant. Just wished they served alcohol so I would eat in with friends. I will be ordering again from here for a takeaway.
