I highly recommend this charming pub and its staff. We went there for a 70th birthday meal and everything was perfect. The food was served promptly and was delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I give it 5 stars for excellence and it was definitely worth the trip. Honestly, it's one of the best pubs we've been to in a long time, especially considering we had a large party of 16 people. Well done!
I organise local socials for RSPB volunteers. This means a very varied choice of menu plus those people arriving at varied times etc. An organisers nightmare! The staff took care of everything and all the meals arrived correctly and very promptly. Our volunteers tend to be ex professionals and look out for high standards. They were not disappointed and very complimentary towards the old ferry boat.
We recently visited the Old Ferry Boat and had a wonderful dining experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The presentation of the food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The dessert was fantastic as well. We will definitely be returning with family and friends. Keep up the great work!
I went about four weeks ago and the food was terrible, the place didn't look clean and the atmosphere didn't seem good BUT I always give places a second chance....This time it seemed clean, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was great. Lovely welcome on arrival, great to have a separate Gluten Free menu with a really good range of good GF options, Kids menu good range from baby food to bigger meals. Service was great, food was really tasty. Nice friendly atmosphere. We will be back for certain!
Me and my family visited the ferry boat at the end of September and it couldn’t have been more welcoming. The food was amazing and the staff were all very polite and friendly. 10/10 service all round, we will definitely be visiting again
This is a lovely place to have lunch, conveniently located for everyone to meet up. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back, hopefully on a sunnier day.
