Great spot for lunch. Chicken tikka sandwich was enormous, and the cheese and ham toastie was generously filled. Lunch was only marred by a couple complaining that the menu had changed and did not include what they had come in for. For clarity, this is stated on the website, as it's a seasonal menu. The full current menu is also posted by the front door, and there's plenty to choose from. But, this was all handled so well by the wait staff and manager, with patience and understanding. Lovely staff, genuinely dog friendly pub, and a nice pint. We'll see you again when we're next in Witney!
We had a Sunday roast overall a decent roast, however the portions were a little off with the veg. A bit disappointed to only receive 2 roast potatoes, one carrot, a very small leaf of kale, and one very small bit of brocoli. It did, however, come with cauliflower cheese. Everything tasted lovley but just wasn't very filling.
This was the second time that I have been here this year and on both occasions (for Sunday lunch) the food and service were excellent. The price is very reasonable as well. The whole place has a very comforting and welcoming feel. Well done team!
Food was great service was lovely too but we sat under the speaker in the dining room to your left and it was so loud to hear each other talk! We did ask twice for it to be turned down but they didn’t! Everything else was lovely tho

A group of us had a wonderful evening at this lovely Pub. We felt so welcomed, the food from a very good menu was beautifully cooked, and the service was great. I couldn't fault it and can highly recommend it!
Lovely venue and super friendly staff. Very hot day but the room for training course was cool airy and comfortable. Attentive service and delicious lunch made for an enjoyable meeting.
Delicious food which lived up to the mouth watering menu and better service. A classic friendly local pub with a gastropub experience. Will be back again.
I was fairly disappointed with food served and the portions were less than generous. The choice of drinks was good as was the service.

Service no existent. Got there at 2pm. Still waiting for starters at 3pm. Staff not helpful at all.
