Firstly, the chicken and beef empanadas could use less salt, and it would be worth considering the addition of more flavorful condiments. Secondly, while transforming Jersey and Italian classics into empanada form is an interesting approach, it might not be the best idea to center half the menu around it. It would be great to explore other flavors such as curry, spicy BBQ, or different meats like pork.
Lastly, the dough is really quite good, but I would suggest serving the empanadas at a hotter temperature. Overall, this place has the potential to be amazing with just a few adjustments.
Edit : This was my family go-to place when it was brand new . The owner was a very nice and friendly lady.The new owner or whoever manages it now has a bad attitude and has often mixed up my order. To make things worst , yesterday I took my daughter there to try to sell ads for the Lyndhurst Middle School Choir concert playbill , the lady didn't even let my daughter explain , just said No, No, No. Very rude way to treat a kid and a customer, as I also wanted to buy empanadas . However I'll take my business elsewhere, a friendlier place .
I like going here to sit in the front of the building with my son. It’s nice to sit on a busy road and people watch sometimes, while being able to get my son out of the house at the same time. I’ve only ordered a drink and empanada here and they were decent. I’m mostly writing the review because of the owner. He’s such a nice guy was very friendly and kind to me and my son. The sons owner also works here and he’s a nice person as well.
This is definitely one of my favorite spots for empanadas! They offer a fantastic variety, and unlike some places, these empanadas are not baked but fried. They are generously filled with delicious ingredients—no half-empty empanadas here! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you're on the hunt for outstanding empanadas, this is the place to go.

Stopped by on the way home on friends recommendation. The dough was crispy and flaky. BEC yummy, beef was great, chorizo and potatoes excellent, Cuban was perfect, and the surprise was the mango and cheese delicious. We also picked up some dessert empanadas. Apple pie, Oreo and Nutella.
Wouldn’t come back, staff was friendly however the empanada was bland and heated up in a microwave when served to me. This was also the most expensive empanada I’ve had $3.73 for a single beef empanada. Would not recommend.
I visited this restaurant with my dad, and we really enjoyed the empanadas along with a mango drink. I highly recommend them! Be sure to stop by.
