They offer a good selection of vegetarian dishes, and the menu is family-friendly, ideal for those dining with young children. We tried one of their specials, which they happily adapted for us to be vegetarian. It was a goat cheese pizza topped with rocket and Parma ham, with the ham substituted for cherry tomatoes—absolutely delicious!
We also sampled another pizza from the daily menu called "Summertime," which included pine nuts, figs, and honey, but notably without a tomato base. While it was beautifully crafted, we found it a bit too sweet, which we should have expected given the ingredients.
Alongside our pizzas, we ordered a side of chips. They were nice but a bit on the greasy side...
What a great restaurant The Oven is. I visited with my boys and during the week, it was busy so a good sign. The staff running the place were fantastic, I had the linguine with king prawns and the fresh flavours were some of the best. My boys each had a pizza made in their wood fired pizza oven and they looked really authentic. Would I go back? Yes, probably going tomorrow. Recommended!
The dining experience is fantastic! Everything is fresh and made with the highest quality ingredients, prepared right in front of you. The pizzas are spot on and have greatly improved! P.S. Don't miss out on the fried chicken; it's epic!
pizza tasted amazing! even my 1.5-Jo likes her and he's a picky eater. very good value and super friendly atmosphere. perfect for an early dinner after a visit to knowsley safari. recommended.

do not worry about the big chain pizzas, they support their local businesses and go here. they were now twice and really felt welcome. large pizzas and cheap prices.
Very delicious authentic italian pizzas made in a woodfired oven! Would be great to have on menu some more options like Tuna or Quattro formaggi pizzas.
