We also stayed at the very lovely, Bon Accueil b&b and Jane suggested visiting The Oystercatcher for great food, beer and atmosphere it didn`t disappoint! The chicken curry went down a treat as we sat beside the log fire that just added to the...charm. The locals were really friendly and didn`t seem to mind our non existent French skills at all. Kevin was a fantastic host and had us feeling at home and howling with laughter within minutes of walking in, as well as introducing me to my new favourite drink I may have returned home with a little more cidre and Cassis than is good for me It truly is a good old fashioned British boozer, but with better prices and bags more character, a must visit...

the kerl is amazing! He makes those stupid jokes that make you laugh. eating here is very simple but very good (and cheap he is happy to welcome her and have a chat! play a game by pool or darts afterwards, very nice place!. we would stay there all night, but then we will probably never see mont Saint-Michel.
