overall I liked it, food cooked fresh and service was good. weinglasses on the table in an effort, as a real restaurant appear, but his definitiw feel a pub, nothing wrong with it, but felt confused in what it was. my only real critique was chips. I hate fries and would be ordered with my burger and my son rather correct chips southern roasted chickenburger, which with 2 burgers so generously stacked in size but not south fried
We booked the restaurant/room for our Grandson's 21st birthday, with 40 guest's. A good time was had by all. Super food, even catering for the kids, reasonable prices and the staff were all amazing. One of the friendliest venue's we have been to. A big thank you from all our family.
Simply one of the best places to eat in the St Helens area. All the food is cooked fresh and the portion sizes are generousl. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. It's worth coming just to try the amazing Sunday lunches. This place is a hidden gem.
Food very tasty. Vegetarian meal was good. However the homemade pie portion could have been slightly larger. We came with friends and eat quite a lot at various restaurants. Maybe also vegetarian menu could be expanded too. Friendly and helpful staff . Would eat there agsin. Book a table now
Because I never trust online booking processes.....I just phoned the restaurant to confirm my booking for next weekend. Just as well I did. The lady I spoke to said the restaurant closed down 'for good ' this last Sunday. Ah well.
First time visitor, ordered Sunday Lunches to take away. Portion sizes didn't look much till transferred on to plates at home food was lovely. Will definitely use again.
This is not a restaurant, but rather a pub. The place has been renovated and is a great spot to enjoy a drink. The staff is very friendly.
